The new FW series of automatic flow wrapping machines produce in Italy by SMIPACK are designed with Industry 4.0 and IoT (Internet of Things) technologies in mind. This line features a rotary bar sealing system and includes seven models—five with an upper film reel (three of which are tailored for entry-level needs) and two with a lower film reel. These machines are ideal for packaging a wide variety of small or irregularly shaped products, whether they arrive loose (as single units) or pre-grouped (as multipacks). Depending on the model, the machines can achieve speeds of up to 200 packs per minute, using either single-layer or laminated flexible film. The integrated sealing and film-folding systems, along with a dynamic, adjustable conformer, ensure quick and easy setup, offering excellent versatility across the FW range.

The FW500e comes with a 150mm wide sealing bar, a maximum product height of 60mm and an adjustable forming box for multiple product sizes.
